Lyddon concert is set for tonight

Paul Lyddon, a faculty member at the University of Hawaii, will present a piano concert at 8 tonight in the Chillicothe High School auditorium.
While in Chillicothe, Lyddon plans to attend the graduation of his son, Bill, from CHS. He also plans to travel to Ohio University, Athens, and attend the graduation of his daughter, Susan.
A native of Rochester, New York, Lyddon received his bachelor of music degree "With Distinction" from the Eastman School of Music. He was the youngest student to ever be admitteed to its Preparatory Department at age 3.
At the University of Illinois, he studied with Stanley Fletcher and Soulima Stravinsky and earned a master's degree in music with "Honors in Performance."
Lyddon served as pianist with the United States Army Band in Washington D.C. for four years. He has performed frequently in the nation, both in recitals and as soloist with several symphony orchestras. He also has played in Europe and recently returned from a tour of Japan.
Tickets for the event, sponsored by the Tempo Club, are available at the door for $3. Lyddon will present selections from composers including Mozart, Ravel and Rachmaninoff.
